Looks like you got Marcos' car!! That's a beautiful example of a 996, quite honestly, the cleanest 996 I've seen. If you do decide to go e85, i'd call Tony at Turn In, do your fuel, and go with Cobb. Corbin (from Indy) is a great tuner and get you on a 93 and e85 map. I can literally switch maps in a matter of 20 seconds (once the car is off). I highly recommend the cobb setup!

Thanks! TE37's are my favorite, plus you never seen them on a porsche (at least I never do). I'd have them on every car if i could afford it, until then i'll have to rock the varrstoens on my other cars lol (501whp 335)


Sorry to dig this up, but a buddy pointed me to this thead (Thanks Matt!) and this is the same issue I am having with my Cobb at the moment. My throttle will close all the way down to 3x%. What was the fix if you don't mind me asking? I'm using ATR at the moment.

Cobb has the fix in a new table, though it hasn't been released to the public yet. I'm guessing within 30 days it will be finalized. I'm sure Mitch or Jon can chime in and let us know the exact timing of it.

yep...I have been talking to Jon and he has sent me a new map with the missing table (he believes this is the same issue). I still need to test it to verify. Hopefully this weekend. He also said that once I verify, he will be able to move forward with putting the fix into production. Thanks Dan!

Nice build now you just need Joes intake scoops for lower IATs and even more power.

not sure, came with the car, but can see em on ebay under 'gt2 style carbon fiber'

I've since added real carbon fiber inlets, and nothing a little bit of water/meth injection can't help

Put his carbon scoops on top of them I promise you wont be sorry did. They ljust look so good.

The COBB table issue, does this effect every 996 TT AccessPort? Also did you ever figure out your clutch issue?

I believe the issue is specific to a particular set of ROM IDs. The majority of cars, as it was explained to me, did not suffer from the issue.
