I'm essentially looking for something to keep me in place better than my stock sport seats, as well as update/improve the interior aesthetically. My concern with the Cobras is that the will look too bulky and thick, although that CF back does look incredible. On the other hand, the Sporters don't appear to be that aggressive, although most people that have them seem to love them.

Or maybe I should just bite the bullet and pay the price of a used Honda Civic for some GT2's, haha.
if you let folks know were you live you might find either seats installed close to you. i know ccjimmyb has recaro sporster cs in his turbo in orlando

Great point. I'm living in the DC area right now, but will be moving to the San Francisco area at the end of the month.

I've been looking at the Status Racing seats. I like the level of customization they offer, but I have not seen many reviews

DSCOFF, those look great, I'm going to have to check those out. I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day, haha.

ccjimmyb, those look amazing with your roll cage in the back! Do you drive your turbo on a regular basis or just the track? Mine isn't my daily driver, but I do drive it a few times a week, and I want something that will be comfortable over extended periods of time.

To be honest with you I just put them in the car and just got the car back from what became a 10 month build. I've driven around town just a little bit and I'd say the are very comfortable. Longest I've been in the car was 45 minutes and I'd say they are 100 percent better than stock.

I had these Recaro Pole Positions (when I bought the car)...but didn't fit:

Then went to these (much better for me):

I'm a lot heavier than I look...I train weights 4-5x times per week...I'm 6'2" and 250lbs (not much fat). Most people guess I'm 215-220 lbs.

Anyhow, the recaro's were tight on my hips and shoulders. I could fit but it was very snug. Getting in and out of the car was too uncomfortable for a street driver. For longer drives, the hunched-forward shoulder position got uncomfortable.

Yeah, very likely...one thing I've learned (the hard way) is don't buy seats without sitting in them first. I had a bad experience with very expensive custom made seats for my old Z06.

I'd post up a local/regional request to see if anyone has those seats close to you. Go sit in them to be sure.

Then again, if I was just tracking my car, I would have kept the Recaro's. Once in the car, I felt planted. For the track, comfort is a tad less important.

For sure, thanks for the heads up! Yeah, I need to find someone who has them installed in their car and give them a try.
