Thanks Stuart. Phase II involves hitting your products up so I can fly past a 4.7... (Although I'd be lying if I were to say I wasn't following your TT thread...)

Basically it was the wifey's weekend car when she doesn't need the SUV...

But then she hijacked my fun car...

But, I'll have the last laugh because I'm now making this poor "unwanted" V8V Roadster something memorable. Call me sentimental, but I can't part with it because my little girls love it so much...

Replacement V12 Hood came today and in great shape thanks to proper packing from AMBits.

(And the upholsterer is hard at work at the moment. Trying to source gold thread ain't easy.)

This will be my new 6.5" screen (Alpine TME-S370), which fits perfectly (you can see the perfect fitment by searching "Aston iPod" on YouTube).

This will be used in conjunction with the smart video switcher (NAV-TV SVS-6-KIT592)

, to display beautiful, crisp images from my wireless wifi smart phone mirroring module (Naviks WiFi-NSPMI)

, rear and front multi-angled cameras (Kenwood CMOS-320), or the left and right side mirror cameras (Boyo VTK370DL) that are triggered by using the turn signal stalk.

Audio will be transmitted via Bluetooth by way of the upgrade kit purchased from Aston (FD43-37-10167).

Purchased high and low beam LED bulbs to swap out my HIDs.

Interested to see how these perform. Got really good reviews. If they suck, I'll go back to xenon.

Just received 1st batch (25 pieces) of 23ct gold plated parts from CIR Electroplating in the UK. They have a proprietary process to gold plate plastic and other non-metallic services. Jonathan has been superb.

Almost seems a shame you aren't doing this to a new car!

Dude those LED low beams are so bright, I put them on my land rover and almost every evening I come home from work I get flashed because people think I have my high beams on... then I flash back with my high beams

Haha.. Actually, the point is to breathe new life into a car that is basically collecting dust in our garage. Lol

Hoping the new H&R lowering springs will help? Lol

Did you actually buy this brand? Thoughts? They have incredible reviews and the light seems to perfectly match the OEM DRLs.

I did not buy the same brand, but similar style of built in fan within a copper heat sink etc.

Its not even the issue of refraction or lens of the beam, the light output of the LED bulbs are literally multiple times that of a standard halogen, maybe not as much over Xenon but still a HUGE difference

It was actually Henry Frankenstein who originally created the monster.
Victor was his son who brought the creature back to life.
Seriously, your extensive mods are wonderful.
Most importantly it seems like you are having fun.

I was going by memory so I'll have to blow the dust off my old
copy and read it again. 👍

Thanks, it has been a lot of fun, but after 3 months, I'm ready for it to all come together.

My information comes from the classic Karloff movies of the 1930s.
Perhaps Mary Shelley's novel has Victor as the creator.
Now, what can I do to my dead stock 14' V8V?

Start a thread with pictures of your car so we can see and advise with options.

First do the High Flow Cats and Tune from Velocity AP. That will give you the power increase and improve the drivability.

Cosmetics----- That's subjective so pictures and what you are thinking.

plus funding the project----- options are endless if you have that type of bank account.

However, I for one am extremely limited. Just happy that I could afford to join this group of great people.
