Looks great, but sucks to take care of that paint. I wouldnt want it ever. No way to buff out scratches and a pain to keep clean and protected.

I'm doing something very similar but satin black. 3M says you wash it just like paint, once per week. To add some contrast however, I've powder coated my exhaust tips in a glossy black - almost looks ceramic.

Nice! Before my current vehicle I had a C63 AMG that was wrapped in a matte gunmetal color. Super easy to maintain, protected the paint, and looked really good. Good luck with your project!

Had a Mustang in high school that had a matte black hood. PITA to maintain. When waxing had to tape it off to protect edges. Finally just said to heck with it and sprayed clear over it. Guessing vinyl easier to maintain.

To each his (her) own. Matte-finish cars always look like the painters primered the car but forgot to paint it.

Agreed. That's why I'm doing a black satin wrap. Has a more 'wet' look.
