I figured it was about time, "The Raven" 837hp 996 TT

So I've been reading the forum for a while, and registered recently so I figured I would post up one of our shop cars, a 2001 996 Turbo
Porsche details
This started as a stock 996 Turbo and went through an extensive custom job and many months to become the "Raven". This car was a part of "The Great American Run" last summer and went from New York to Los Angeles and was able to hit 200+mph and that was without the boost all the way up. Here is a brief list of modifications to the car, it's just that there is too much to list so if you have any questions at all feel free to call and ask.

Engine
Modified Garrett GT750 High Flow turbochargers
Upgraded high pressure wastegates
CNC machined billet aluminum wastegate mounts
Billet Diverter Valves
Proprietary/ PES Engine Management Software
High Output Sport Stainless Steel Exhaust with 100 Cell Catalysts
V-Flow Air Induction System
44.5 mm Primary Tube Stainless Steel Headers
Silicone Boost Hose Conversion with Diverter Valve "F" Hose
70mm High LFlow Turbo Air Inlet Ducts (plastic)
Bostch Large Bore Bosch Throttle Body
CNC Machined Throttle Body Adapters with Venturi
Modified Large Diameter "Y" Pipe
Clubsport Intercooler Upgrade
Braidied and Fire Jacketed Fuel Line Upgrade Kit with Fuel Fitler Kit, Adapters, Clips
Modified Fuel Rails
High Flow Fuel Injectors
NGK Racing Spark Plugs
Custom Cryogenics intercooler sprayer set (with purge)

Transmission
Kleeman Strengthened Mercedes Transmission

Suspension
Brembo Monoblock brake upgrade (6 Piston with 408mm front discs, 4 piston rear with 380mm rear discs)
KW V-3 Coilover Suspension
Eibach adjustable front and rear sway bars
Das Roll Bar

Exterior
PES G5 wheels powder coated black
TechArt GTS Body Kit

Interior/ Electronics
GT3 Race Seats with custom covering
Valentine 1 radar built in
Front and rear laser diffusers
Alpine in dash touch-screen monitor with full navigation
Morel 3-way speakers (6", 4" and 1")

i gotta double check with one of the guys but the car was dyno'd at 685 at the wheels on 93, i will try and locate the sheet and scan it. and he used about 18.2% drivetrain loss to get the 837hp number

I think the car looks great.

A few questions for you:

The 2 switches in the center console that would be for the seat heaters. Are they for something else now? If so what?

Also. Do you notice a big difference when using the intercooler spray? When do you use it? Is it designed to compensate for heat sink doing 1/4 mile runs or is it used on the street?

Thanks

This is an old thread but pulling it back because of the car. my buddy bought this car a few years ago. a guy re ended him and wrecked the bumper and the exhaust so now it's coming to my shop for some upgrades. picked it up today and brought her up North. I'll have some more pics to come.
