That looks like it is certainly moving does he have the the cables and shifter etc ? I got the new smaller diameter clutch from Rob - I think that is the latest. And like you - I only have dyno time and 1 shift sector event. Then 1 weekend playing; where it just sheered off 3rd gear ... now "contemplating" what to do next.
I did not do the DSS axles - only hoping to leave as the weakest point as an insurance vs the tranny etc. but to have a solid launch perhaps it needs to be on the list.
Back to your car... That thing is gonna be INSANE !!! Be safe and enjoy in good health as mine was beginning to scare the crap out of me -which I LOVE
Are you building for 1/2 mile or mile ? I think you will need a 7th gear and an extra set of ***** for a mile - these cars are getting too fast too quickly.
so I am assuming your trans is out now? take a look at the black clutch cover and see if it has springs in it. if it does not, he can add them easily for you in a few days. that will solve your hang-ups once and for all. this is what's in blue 997 that's in the video, if you were to shift that car any faster you would rip the shifter off lol. it has stock long throw shifter, stock shifter cables as well. there is also another one of these in Realife's car which makes 1200+ whp and it also shifts fast. I still haven't driven mine so I cant comment on mine.
we are also worried about the trans. we have done everything we can to it for now - Guard GT2 PRO LSD, billet side cover and chromoly axle stubs. will try to keep torque to 900-950 for now. cross our fingers and hope I don't scatter it this season. Guard is in process of making stronger gears, so as soon as he has them I will buy a full set at which point I will do some 1/4 mile stuff and race on prep.
for now I want do a 1/2 mile event. I think stock gearing will actually be perfect for where it will end up at 8500rpm at least for now.

Good luck ...
that car was only making 925whp all in, so I don't think it was even 60lbs of air being moved. it's as basic of a build as it gets. rods, headstuds and refreshed heads. we just put 3076s on it and it made 1050whp so hopefully track soon with it.
Xona 9567? Wow you're a wild man. Those will do north of 1800whp if you turn them up. I went with the smaller xx64s.
Garth made a few more pulls late last night to clean up pump gas. It hits 18psi on spool up and runs 16psi. Still on wastegates and 93 octane, revving to 7800 RPM.
Careful with vibration and the thermocouples, kills turbine wheels all the time.
Another tip which you may already know, make sure the thermocouple does not touch the pipe wall. You will start picking up metal skin temperature changing your gas temperature reading which is what you are really after.

Garth wired up the Motec C127 dash and logger. Also thanks to Chris Delgado for custom firmware for it to work with the ProEFI.

Reason: .
Is that a 5th gear dyno pull? I'm guessing you didn't have an RPM pick up but it always sucks when you can't see RPM. Curious where those 9567s pick up and go . Looks like around 5,000rpm?

Yeah he does 4th first then does 5th since it's basically the 1 to 1 gear on the 997TT box and is more load. Last dyno session RPM was acting up.
Joe@AIM finished my new headers with individual EGT bungs in every runner. Waiting on Garth to wire them into the Racegrade TC8 and that into the ECU and it will be ready to hit the dyno again.
