Any know if there are any potential issues with not running a wheel center cap long term on the Work Meister S1 3P wheels? Also, what optimal ET for flush look f/r without rubbing? I'm going to run my near new 295s and assuming 11".

Is 19×8.5 +48 and 19×11.5 +48 fitment suitable for the narrow body without rubbing, and will a 295 tire fit an 11.5" wheel?

your rears look fine but your front needs way lower offset

 

A vendor has a new set with the specs referenced. I sent an email last night and haven't heard back yet, but thought I'd seek others' input. They're listed as Porsche specs and I'm wondering if they're for a TT - I thought though that the front on a TT would have the same setup as I narrow body? On my last 997 I had TT rear offsets and they were perfect.

Any thought on whether a 295 will fit onto an 11.5 rim?

 

I think a 295 should fit an 11.5 rear, but it might have a slightly stretched look on the sidewall to tread shoulder.

I had 305's on 11" so 295 on 11.5" will be a bit of a stretch. It'll fit.

 

I just found out the set was sold - old ad I found through Google last night. The order turnaround time is 12 to 16 weeks. Something to ponder today but I'm likely going to order a set.

I don't think those offsets you're looking to run are anywhere near a good match for a NB car and I have experience with 5 different sets of wheels on two 2005 997.1 C2S NB cars.

Sorry, but the look where the outer edge of the rim protrudes out past the sidewall of the tire isn't very Porsche-esque and looks more like one of those autocrosser poser Miatas you see setup way wrong with ridiculous levels of rear camber and no rear suspension travel.

On a helpful note, I don't see why not running a center cap for some period of time would cause a problem.

 

I'm running
19x12 + 65 in the rear with 15mm spacer and 305 tire. No rubbing on C2s

 

Got pics showing the amount of flushness / poke. GT3 wheels are 19x12 ET 68 and are pretty close to perfect. Your setup with the spacer would be equivalent to running a 19x12 ET 50 which is 18mm (3/4") further out. That's like a TT fitment so I'm curious to see what it looks like as it seems like it will be quite a bit beyond flush.

I just have to say that's an amazing picture and stance! Please let me know what you're lowered on? I'm currently on H&R springs but I'm looking to changing over to coil overs. I ran H&R C/O on my last 997 and KW on my former M3.

Also, curious, why they're your "old set up" and why other than something new for the change? Thanks!
