Made from 321 Stainless Steal, the headers are complete polished. Flanges are laser cut for a precision fit. Each header features a highly engineered collector to keep your turbo spooling faster then stock while creating additional horsepower and torque. Tested on a 2001 996TT with factory K16 turbos, these headers added almost 10 wheel horsepower. As tested on a 997TT, the headers gained almost 20 ft/lbs of torque. How are these compared to stock with regard to the fit to the head, stock need a fair amount of port matching?

I'm just comparing the extra work in port matching a stock header vs buying these?

The OEM Boysen headers are the only headers on the market that are double walled. It's an excellent design and you simply can not do better especially if you spend the hour or two to port them. Ask ANY person that is well versed in these cars and they will tell you the same exact thing..

 

You say 'Stock Boysen', i assume you're referring to the stock supplied from the factory on all 996 turbos, or is there a difference in K16 / K24?

@Vivid - Are these equal length design?

 

Boysen makes the OEM headers. Same are used on all 996/997 TT/GT2 cars

 

I was to understand the 03 and later stock manifolds are a lot cleaner on the inside and yield less gains than prior years.
