I have a standalone so it only "pulls timing" if there is a problem or for traction control otherwise it does exactly as told.

Rods will be the first to fail at 675-750 WTQ.

The hp "record" on stock rods is around 950 crank.

ok, so very similar to a 996 motor. I think they share a block, I guess the rods are probably the same then too.

similar to 996tt motor. engine cases, rods, pistons, heads, cams are different between 997 and 996.

its been cold here and we haven't put the driveshaft back in as it will probably go back on the dyno one more time.


I just picked up my painted 997.2 rear bumper from AMS Autowerks, cant wait to get it on the car.

standalone wiring is cleaned up and the back part of the interior can start going back together, took apart the front center console yesterday to do the PCM3.0 conversion.

hahaha not yet. my plan is to the clayton half mile in beginning of May.


we also just found an issue with 2 of my spark plug wires, will fix then back on dyno one more time.
