oil temp gauge

i am having intermittent oil temp readings . does anyone know where the sensor is located on the 997 tt engine

Number 38 in picture, just edited because I thought you were asking pressure sensor

Thanks for the quick reply and diagram . Is it accessible from under the hood ,do you have t take off anything to get at it .

Yes you can get to it, I haven't messed with a stock car in along time. So I cant remember what all has to come off.

3.8 liter motor built by evospec with ported heads and cams, Precision turbo 6466's, ProEFI stand alone, 6inch intercoolers, ect. Pretty much everything has been changed in the engine bay.

His numbers in his signature were done on a stock motor with TiAL A3076, Boostlogic 6" intercoolers/Y-pipe/Fender intake pipes/etc, 1000cc Injectors, Tilton Clutch and tuned by Tony @ EPL. The car made 897rwhp SAE on a stock motor. The setup he posted is his new setup that should make some real serious power

It is going to require a few parts to come off to get to the sensor if I remember correctly though, but it can be done without dropping the motor out of the car. It will most likely not be fun to do though
