Little update on the build since it's getting big I guess.

Sean is finishing up the motor here with the following.
rods
diamond pistons
iron liners
cams
12mm studs
ported heads

also adding efr7163 turbos now as well as going up to 2000cc injectors.

trans is getting overhauled with 997 gt2 main shaft and 1-3 gears, steel syncros and billet side plate.

Sean is also build me the adapters for the 380mm front brakes.

New roll bar and harnesses are in the shop and need to be installed as well.

im sure a few other things.

goal will be 1000whp+ now.

380 not 350? What calipers are you going to use? Very interested in how this turns out, who's doing the trans work?

997 cup car calipers. 380 front 350 rear. Same as the 997.2 gt3. Sean's doing the trans.

Sean has done some. It's depends on time. Either he will do it or he has another trans guy too. It's a fairly simple build, nothing crazy.

You and Sean should both come out to Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack this spring.

Matt... when is it?

As long as my car is finish, I'd be down. It's not a bad drive from Salt Lake City. Plus it would be cool to run the EFRs against the K2471s, both with similar mods on the same fuel and stock block.

Here is the flyer, we are going to do Saturday. I'm not sure if I will have my 996 there this year or a different car yet but there are a bunch of 6speed guys that go usually. If you are interested let me know and I'll get you in the loop with our crew of cars.

Yea hope so. Getting parts for that build is taking forever though so who knows. Almost had the rotors on....then I couldn't decide if I should refinish the calipers or not so they are sitting on my desk.

Finally making progress on my car. Got back last Sunday from Vegas with the motor and trans. Big thanks to Sean at arm and Bill radar for those. Tons of work though I'm trying to fit in a super short time.
got the aero all done with the Joe Toth splitter and then the addition of side plates I made. Brake master cylinder change out to the 997tt one. Rear brakes are in with new lines and pads. Front I have to wait till Saturday to get the adapter brackets from Sean. Suspension changed with new adjustable poly lca bushings so I cambered out more using those. Rear I have to pull in a bit on the lca and adjust the camber with the uppers. The 275/335 setup sticks the furthest out so suspension is setup for those and then using spacers to make the street setup look flush.
had to roll and push the fenders even a bit more and missed the liners more. Rear I only have the rear part covering the intercoolers. The rest I bedlined and modded the side skirt end and sealed it up with silicone.
going to try and get the motor assembled tomorrow and bolt the trans and new triple disk tilton up. Got the dss axles in.

Idk to much stuff to go over. Trying to do about a 2 month build in a week. Been busy.

Looks good. How much ground clearance do you have under the front splitter? I would worry I'd tear that thing off turning in and out of driveways. I ruined my stock plastic one on a cattle guard a few years ago.
