Aftermarket Aero "Style" Front Lip - Any experience?

Has anyone purchased/installed the aftermarket aero front lip that sells on ebay for ~$100 shipped? Curious on reviews for quality and fitment? OEM from Suncoast is $1k.

I have a factory non-aero lip now (the $330 one on Suncoast). It's starting to fade a bit and was considering swapping out. Either going to do the ebay aero "style" one or the OEM non-aero from Suncoast.

Thanks!

Ebay Bayson. It is quality. The plastic underneath extends back a bit to support it. For fitment mine was a bit tight so I had to muscle it on. Extremely pleased.

You can even set them in the direct sun for a bit before install, helps it to go back to shape after shipping and makes it easy to install.

it differs from the stock aerokit lip (a tiny bit), but in a good way imo.

fitment is good. though it DOES crack easily, whereas the stock will sort of deform and bounce back. I trashed two lips in 3 weeks before I got used to it with my low ride. luckily, it costs almost nothing. will buy one again soon, lol.

Get some 303 protectant, it will return faded plastic and protect it quite well. I use that stuff on everything.

You can can also buy the lip off Walmart online store for around $70 bucks.

I have that one. Fit great, looks much better than non-aero lip to me. Cracks easy, dont bottom it or hit it on anything. Mine has inch long crack where it made contact and "flexed" when bottomed out under hard braking at the track.

+1 on the 303. Started using it on the inflatable for my trawler. it works great at sealing and protecting from sun and it helps make bug splats not stick quite so well.

I've put this idea up before but it does really help these last much longer. Might even improve aero a bit, for sure if you did a under tray, but if you do scrape, it keeps it from folding under. It's just 1/4" splitter made from abs.Click image for larger version

Just purchased the aero front lip from ebay today. May do the ABS lip also, looks good and is double function, better aero and lasts longer. z06801, Where did you source the 1/4" ABS?

Look for a Professional Plastics in your area they have locations all over if not any plastic supply should have it, You can buy it in a 4'x8' sheet. The lip has about a 1" flat space all around the bottom to attach it, just counter sink the abs and pop rivet or bolt it to the aero lip.
