I am considering this steering taken off from a 991.2. Can you rewrap this in black leather with acid green top center and acid green threads? Another option I am considering is alcantara with acid green top center and acid green threads.

Since this original airbag leather and crest is removed for custom jobs what happens if airbag deploys? Will crest become a projectile? Will new leather not break away like original leather? How can we be sure the same functionality will be there?
