Thumbs up Did the 2015+ Facelift Mod

So i did it.
I have a 2010 Turbo, and i did the 2015 Facelift on it (front only- for now)

I cant confirm that the parts i used were:
Front Bar Cover
Headlights
Headlight Trays
DRL/ Turn Signals

Thats it.

Here are a few caveats.
1) Headlight washers are no longer functional. If i had bought the updated headlight washers to suit the bar, then they would have worked. But i didnt bother with it. I had the headlight washer plumbing, plumb back into the washer bottle, so no leaks.

2) The headlight trays dont mount correctly in their place. In order for these to be able to fit properly, you need to purchase update fenders. I didnt want to go through that.
The headlight trays are still able to fit, just need to bolt them in yourself. Its a easy. Then the headlights sit in there no problem.

3) Error messages on the dash. And this is what i wanted some assistance with from anyone on here in the know.

So as soon as you start the car, you get an error message for headlight control failure. Can obviously just clear it off no problem. But its there in the background which is annoying.
Also, when you turn the indicators on, an error message also comes up, and they flash quickly (only in the car though. on the exterior the indicators flash at the correct rate)

Can anyone step me through how to remove these errors with the porsche diag software?

Anyone else been through this?
Everything works as intended. Though i have lost my curve illumination due to the errors. But thats about it. Once the errors are fixed that appear on the dash, then everything will be great.

Pics to follow just away at the moment.

The front bar i used i bought from Alibaba. Aftermarket but even my panel shop said the quality and fit was amazing. Was plastic, not fibreglass. Came delivered in a wooden crate. Packaged excellent. Prep & Painting wasnt a problem.

The DRLs i used OEM and bought them online. They cost about as much as the front bar from memory.

The headlight trays etc i bought from FCP Euro from memory.
Any questions welcome to ask.

Please help with the above!!

Good news, looking forward to your pictures, detailed ones please so everyone can see what you've highlighted above.

I'm hoping that your local Porsche dealership can help with the reprogramming especially of the turn signals. The headlights may be a challenge as the actual units likely have different components hence why its throwing a code.

What was your main motivation for the changes? Just to do it?

Thanks and good luck with the issues.

Yes will take it to Porsche when im back.
I guess the motivation was just to refresh the front.

My old front bar was fine. Usual stone chips etc. Was going to respray it anyway. But though, why not give it a try.

Nice pictures! Thank you for sharing!

Do you like the green or blue paint better? I think they both look nice.

The dealer can re-program ur fault codes:

" 3) Error messages on the dash. And this is what i wanted some assistance with from anyone on here in the know.

U will have to go to the dealer to have all ur control modules re-programmed/coded to ur new electronic parts.

I just swaped out my instrument cluster for a cluster with luxor beige gauges.
The car would not go into gear/ Trans. failure warnings along with many other fault codes. The dealer coded it correctly .
Now its fine.
