Dog in a Vantage
I have a seat cover that I use in all cars! You can see it in the photo, my seats are not hounds tooth - LOL. Also put a towel on the center console. Fur is not a problem, he just sits there.
Fur is a mere vacuum away. The scratches I do mind, though. What cover do you use? I wouldn't mind something durable I could put in and out...I was just going to use, like, a blanket or painters drop cloth (both of which are easily squirmed off the seat).
This is the one that I have. My wife got it locally in houston somewhere.

I works well in a back seat as well and creates a u-shaped area connecting to the front and rear headrests.

I guess I'm wondering what there is in terms of space with another passenger. A 911 has rear "seats", a C6 Corvette has a rear hatch area that's open to the cabin, a Cayman has what looks to be an actual dog shelf, but the Vantage...I can't seem to find a good photo of what it has.
I've had our Corgi in the Vantage; not a problem. I thought I had a picture of her in it, but can't find it. Never an issue. In our XK, her nose would change the radio station. One of the reasons I sold the Vantage was there was no room for my wife and the dog... Rapide, our dog can use the back seat or one of us can if she wants to sit it up front (the dog). DB9 has too tight of a back seat similar to the XK. We had a smaller corgi previous to Lilly and she could turn around in the back seat, but Lilly couldn't. The Evora had a great flat back seat for the dog, but small trunk.
No way, never never never.
I will never ever let my dogs near my Aston. I love my dogs dearly but two Boxers in a DB9 is disaster. They have trashed my MB S550. Fur everywhere, slobber everywhere, I will never ever let my dogs near my car.
Let me say up front that I am terribly allergic to dogs. That said I am always somewhat confused as to the varying devotion some owners have to their dogs. I was aghast when upon arriving home my brother said to his dog “Daddy is home”. I thought he has lost his mind. In fairness to my brother, he has a dedicated dog car, the Jeep. I then discovered that my brother was only mildly affected. A large number of dog owners consider their dogs just as, if not more important that their kids. Some dog owners sleep with their dogs, want to swim with them at their beaches and even want them to ride it their favorite cars.
