Thanks, but I check Autotrader on a daily basis...
The first one is a scam.
The fifth was sold weeks ago.
The others have too many miles for the price, although the silver Tip for $64900 does seem like a pretty sweet deal...

"Here's a black on grey for 66k with 6500 miles"
I'd have to say scam ... either that or salvage title or something. Why would someone waste their time listing a car with a bogus price like that? What are they trying to accomplish?

SCAM>>> i wrote the seller...this is what he replied with:
"Hello,
Thank you for your interest, the ad is still available.
My car has never been damaged in any way. It's condition is outstanding and most important i have a
clear title. The odometer shows 6,500 Miles. The problem is that i had to move with my
family in Germany , Europe. I brought the car here with the intention of driving it but when i found out about the very high import duties i have made up my mind and decided to sell the vehicle back to the USA. The car was firstly purchased in the US and it is still registered there.
I am willing to cover the air freight to the USA. The transaction must take place with the use of an on line escrow company that my son reccomended, this service handles these kind of transactions. They are going to keep your funds until you receive and
inspect the vehicle. Only with your authorization they will release the
funds to me.
Please let me know if you are willing to buy under these circumstances and if yes ,please let me know what else you may need.
The price is negotiable, i am ready to find out what your best offer is.
Regards"

too much time with this one already....
There are 3 kinds of Porsche enthusiasts:
1. guys who talk about buying a Porsche
2. Guys who buy them and let them sit in the garage…..â€oh, I don’t want to put miles on itâ€
3. And the rest of us….
In my opinion…for what its worth.

Seriously, some of you really need to get off my dick. The reason why so much time has been spent on this thread is because of people like you who feel the need to respond and stick in your 2 cents.

sorry dude....
Marc… am I sorry ….I did bait you a little with my last post. I should've clarified to you that I was the second person from the board who contacted you via e-mail and offered to sell you my Lapis Blue 2001TT to you...so between you and me, I think we both know your full of sh#t.
Sorry to have to tell you this dude.....and I’m not usually such a jerk about things like this, but I was little bored last night, having a lousy day, and just couldn’t help myself.
So, let’s agree to disagree and leave it at that…..?
Again, my apologies.-ET

LOL, and why am I full of ****? Because I didn't want to pay $89k for your modded 996TT? I offered you $80k and you declined. Had you said yes, I would have been on the first flight out there to pick up my new 996TT.
I guess I was also "full of ****" about buying my Z06, Cobra, and S4, since I currently own all of them and got excellent deals on all three...

You're not getting any cars because your offering too little for them. It is as simple as that!!!!! Step up to the plate and maybe you will be driving a Turbo.
P.S. A Z06 Cobra and a S4 are in a different class than the Turbo!!!

so if I offer you $20 bucks for your Viper, can I then claim that someone offered me a Viper for sale for $20 bucks? how does your first quote reconcile with the truth that came out in your second quote?
yes you are full of ****.

When you total up the value of the Z06, Cobra, and S4, you'll find that it's more than the cost of a '01 Turbo. You're correct in that the 996 is in a different class, but my point was to illustrate that I have "serious" cars right now and that I'm a serious buyer.
Why I need to prove any of this to you guys is beyond me...
