Modified GT2 Turbo's
Category: Engine - Power Adders
Price: $5000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo
Location (State): AL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped
I've run 5,5 - 5,6 seconds (100-200 kph) with race gas and 6 seconds with pump on those and it is getting better after 200 kph, it has larger housings than 997tt turbo's. Also those have titanium wheels which minimizes the heating problem of turbo's. Those are the biggest power you can get out of VTG's for a 997tt with a proper tuning.
The retail of the stock GT2 turbos are $9,000 + modify cost which should be another $4,000. I'm ready to let those go for a steal $5,000 shipped!
Thanks,

OP-
The reason you are not getting any interest is that these are a 'total unknown'.... your description doesn't really say anything other than 'not stock and bigger'.... there is no way to understand what other items the buyer would need to tune these, what flash is needed, nor who made these modified turbos so an estimate on longevity might be made.
You need "these are evoms K24s with a XYZ plus a ABC", or "these are a RUF XYZ", etc, etc.
What sizes they are, precisely, who made them, etc.

exhaust, coolers and a tune would be good enough I guess. The car I ran those turbos had these and an IPD plenum and ran pretty good times.

FVD is the company who made them. The outer sizes are similar to those turbos which are in the kits of Switzer, Proto and any other tuner makes, the most important difference is these are bigger on the inside of the exhaust housings which makes them have more power up top and chokes later than regular modded 997tt turbos. First I have tried FVD modded 997tt VTG's and ran 100-200 kph at 6.3 seconds and 200 - 300 kph at 17 seconds, then I upgraded to those and ran 100-200 kph at 5.9 seconds and 200 - 300 kph at 14.5 seconds. All with pump gas. With race gas, it's a different story. (100-200 5.6 seconds - 200-300 13 seconds)
If you like suggestion, I would suggest to go with Protomotive tune with these turbos.
Thanks,
