I am in desperate need of a new/used 996 911 6 speed transmission. I have never had anything happen like this, but apparently the entire transmission is in pieces. The quote that Porsche is giving from Germany is $22k which is insane. By the time I would be done with the install and all, I'd have about $30k, which isn't far off of how much the car is worth.

Can anyone help / save me here with a transmission that I can purchase?
