2007 BMW M6 Cab for lease transfer
Starting a new thread, the other is a bit of a mess.
If any of you know leases, this is a smokin good deal. Car is fully loaded, MSRP $117k. Blacked out wheels, grills and tinted windows. There are 24 months left on the lease at $1505 plus tax. Less than 3500 miles on the car.

I honestly thought it would be gone in less than a week. You can't even lease a 997 Carrera this cheap.
It obviously isn't as good of a deal as you think it is. There were other lease assumptions for M6 convertibles that have been posted that were in the 1200 a month range.
That's simply untrue. The $1200 M6 was a guy who had a car with almost no options (not even full leather), 20% fewer allowed miles, and wanted $7000 on top of taking the lease over. Please get your facts straight.
Steve I think the car is stunning, I think what you are running into is you can lease a new one for the same money and most people who swing a $1500.00 a month payment are just gonna go for new. I think if there was like 6 months left you might have an easier time. My e55 has 11 months left on it and I have tried getting out with no luck. I would offer an incentive of maybe two months payments, which would put it at a payment of roughly $1300.00 . This would be a lot make it a lt more appealing in my opinion. If you can get out of a lease this early with only a 3k loss you are not doing bad at all. In most situations with a 100k you are going to be 20k upside down this early in. Either way good luck. Car looks amazing!

Buddie of mine is in the same scenario but frankly, I told him things are tight all around due to economy. People with the money rather go new so these types of offers need to be ridiculously attractive. Just my 2cents...good luck though
the thing is, in order to get this payment you need to A) get the dealer to give you the lowest rates available, B) negotiate about 4k off MSRP, and C) put down $5000 of cap reduction money not including drive offs which are another $2500 or so.
So no, you can't really walk into a dealer and lease a new one for the same money.

just checked my lease paperwork. $7000 down to get this payment. Include the wheels and trim pieces and you're looking at nearly $10,000 up front savings over a new one. On a two year lease that's pretty significant.
It is a good deal. I tried to talk my parents into it, but they resist. They're looking at other cars in the same price range. You're right though, they're looking at paying $10-15K up front with payments from 1700-2K. If I had the money laying around I'd jump at this. Tough market nonetheless, and people seem to dislike lease assumptions for some reason.
Sorry to disagree fellas and I am not looking to cause problems BUT :
I was curious so I walked into my local dealer and with a little negotiating was able to get a NEW 2008 M6 Cabrio with all the goodies for $1550/mos. TAXES INCLUDED with NO MONEY DOWN and only about $2500 in upfront costs. (30 month lease)
