FS: **silver/black 2001 911 996 Porsche Turbo** ALL FIXES COMPLETED!

The time has come for me to sell my silver/black 2001 911TT. I’m not happy about letting it go, but I have a new car, and my work life doesn’t leave me with enough time to enjoy more than one weekend car. In short, the car is in spectacular condition and has never been abused or seen a track. My AD consistently comments that the car looks remarkable. All fixes have been completed! Here are the details:Mileage: Approximately 42,000 milesService record: This car has been meticulously maintained throughout its life. Just recently, the car was brought to Tom Wood Porsche in Indianapolis for servicing and a top to bottom inspection. I gave clear instructions to make sure that the car was absolutely perfect in every respect when I got it back: mission accomplished.Tires: Brand new Michelin PS2s installed approximately 2,000 miles agoEngine: Absolute pristine – see pic.Noteworthy repairs: My car did have the 2nd gear pop-out issue and it got a brand new $13,000 transmission. Hindsight being 20/20, there is no chance that I would buy a 996TT that did not already have this repair done. Also, the hydraulic spoiler lift was just replaced for around $800. I know of several other guys who had leaking lift sensors so it’s worth checking for that if you plan to buy a 996TT.Accidents: None whatsoever (not even a door ding). A coupe of years ago the front was repainted by Porsche due to a couple of rock chips and the job that they did is absolutely perfect and even my 2nd AD agreed that it is a perfect match - it’s completely undetectable – see pics. Even up-close in-person I am unable to detect the work because it is a perfect match. The red brake calipers are flaking from heat or whatever and also a couple of the wheels have a slight bit of rash along the edge. Neither one of these issues have been the slightest bit bothersome to me but I want to be sure that the car arrives to the new owner in better condition than expected.Features: The pictures below tell the story. Full leather, navigation with 6-disk changer, hard-wired Valentine 1 radar detector with discrete display mounted under the dash above the driver’s right knee (pictured below – very slick), red custom cover King Cover, etc.Interior: Outstanding condition. As expected, very light wear to the driver’s seat. My AD has cleaned and conditioned the seats, and they look excellent. No products such as Armor-All have ever been used in the interior so it still looks excellent just as it did from the factory – it even still smells much like a new car. This car is for someone who is looking for an un-moded 996TT that has been babied and meticulously maintained. It’s a great car and will be sure to make the new owner very happy.See pics: http://www.digitalendeavor.com/pictures/911.htmlI would like $53,000 (firm) plus delivery. The car is located at my home in Indiana. Please feel free to give me a call anytime if you have questions.Best regards, Michael317-432-6500

Price is way too high at $53k. A dealer would value your car between $40-45k. Maybe yours is $44k considering condition and high mileage. Not worth a dime more than 48k here.

Dealers don't really give you that great of a price in the first place. I had a dealer offer me $40,000 back when my car had only 30,000 miles on it. I don't trust dealers.

Good Luck with the sale. Beautiful car. If I wasn't thinking about a boat, I would upgrade to a TT.

Agreed. MMR and Wholesale is around $44K-$45K Even with all the work and services. Retail is about $48K to $49K in todays market. Nice car though. Just a miles thing.

wow I can't believe what 996Turbos are going for these days if this is true. Hell I've seen 930s selling for 40k and they're 20 years old!
