2002 Turbo: Guards Red/black
2002 Turbo: Guards Red/black
Not really sure if I can do this, but just the fact that I've created this thread means maybe I can. The car:
6-speed with 9.8K
Guards red exterior with black interior & some CF/GR trim
GT-3 seats with Porsche crests: black with GR cushion inserts. Red belts.
Aluminum pedals & gauge surrounds, CF shift/brake, GR paint: radio surround, ash-tray storage, key surround and air-temp surround. Red/black mats with "Turbo" script.
OEM GT-2 wing, painted sills & front lip. Rear wiper delete/GR plug. GR keyhole & bumper plugs. 3M clearguard covering the entire front and 1/3 of the hood, side mirrors and door sills.
HRE 545R 19" rims and relatively new Pirellis. H & R coilovers.
Hybrid turbos, Cargraphic exhaust and modified DME probably producing mid-500s (never dyno'd). Replaced DVs. Steel brake lines/racing fluid.
Car cover, batter tender, spare unpainted front lip. Probably something else.
I know the market for these isn't that good and I have no good reason to get rid of the car other than December will be 6 years with it. Maybe I'm unrealistic, but won't even THINK about anything under 60 grand. Please no posts telling me what I should or shouldn't do regarding price. Thanks!

Thank you, but no. It would/will be hard enough to replace the car and certainly a 996C4S would be in the wrong direction.

I'm on Long Island. Even if you were willing to drive over here to see it, I wouldn't want to potentially waste your time. The car I thought I might like as it's replacement didn't pan out, and it could be a while before i find something. As you know, the market is low right now and this is too good a car for me to just sell b/c, especially when I know it's way more car than the 60-ish grand it would seem to command. Now if someone were super-hot on it and wanted to pay more along the lines of what it's worth (to me), that would be a different story. Since most buyers are bottom-feeders looking to "steal" something, this is not the car for them (not meant as an insult to anyone in particular). If I find something I really want and get hot for that, then it's going to be quick-sale time. Right now isn't that time. Thanks
OK I've found something that I'm interested in, so those who were interested a month ago, please contact me via e-mail at drjimm5@aol.com
Thanks!
Thanks!
Sorry, but I don't have any of the stock parts except for the interior trim pieces that are now red (this is also FYI for any potential buyer who might ask the same). Thanks.
