1987 BMW M6

VIN: WBAEE140XH2560645

Black on Ivory/Grey door trim and dash.

Full leather interior (doors, dash, roof liner)

If you’ve been looking for a truly special E24 M6, your search may be over….

The car currently has 32,xxx miles. I purchased the car in Sept. ’07 with 27K miles. The car was maintained for the last owner by the same BMW tech who has taken care of all my “M” cars, this being my fourth. Therefore I knew the car and the care and meticulous maintenance that had been put into it.

I have changed the front rotors and all main engine and drivetrain seals. There were a couple of leaks and while we had the car “apart” performed some practical preventative maintenance. The relays have also been replaced.

As for modifications, the car is relatively stock. The only modifications include a Turner Motorsport chip and replacement free flow air filter. The combination has made a significant difference in performance. The car runs strong and its speed/quickness is very deceptive. Cosmetically, the only modifications are the wheels as the original non-metric wheels have been replaced with newer BMW wheels, and are in excellent true condition.

Everything works, with the exception of one rear window switch, but the window can be operated by the switch on the front console. The car has the original stereo and one front speaker would have to be replaced.

I have receipts for maintenance performed while owning the car. I do not have previous any from the previous owners, because as mentioned I knew the maintenance history and bought the car on recommendation of our mutual tech.

This is a rather unique car given its almost pristine state and low mileage. Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition, the paint is deep and practically blemish free. There are virtually no rock chips or scratches period! There is no rust whatsoever and the front air dam is practically perfect. There is only VERY slight curb rash on one rim and it is almost unnoticeable. The interior is also excellent with only a slight amount of driver side bolster wear. Great care has gone into maintaining this leather interior. No cracks or tears/stains whatsoever.

The car was garaged by the previous owner and I have as well. I have the title in hand. There are no liens. You will not be disappointed. The car is located in Westchester, NY

Offered at $33K.

Time capsule is right...that thing's clean! My dad had an L6 when I was about 10 years old and I remember spending an awful lot of time in those rear bucket seats playing with the "refrigerator" in the center console and the high-tech trip computer up front. That 80's styling is out of control.

That was one of my favorite cars in that era. It still looks great today and that is a beautiful example.
