Car is for sale - accepting offers now - 2001 RS4 widebody conversion, Stage 3 S4

First, the details. I am asking 38K to start, but accepting reasonable offers. This is one of the nicest S4's in the country - there are maybe 3 other S4's as nice as this one. I am selling because I believe it is prudent to sell the toys and focus on my startup, which will hopefully yield the ability in the future to get something nicer (basically 1 step back, 2 steps forward).

Details:
2001 Audi S4 Silver
6 speed
Sport & Comfort Package
84K miles - mostly long trips (several trips to Sebring, driven across country when driven home)

Former owner was Chad Block, currently a driver's coach, and a former driver, for ALMS. Car was featured on Fourtitude and in European Car. I should note that the purchaser would likely be able to obtain several sponsorships if wanted, as I have. The car had contributions from Stoptech, Bridgestone, H&R, and CPP, and currently is supported by Streetwerke in Palo Alto.

Recently had new plugs and diff seals, as well as a motorvac treatment. Mobil1 0W40 every 3500 miles, always warmed up and cooled down properly. Never launched, not once, and never tracked or taken to the strip.

Mod list:

Exterior:
RS4 Widebody Conversion, from European RS4 wagon
-front bolt on fenders
-front bolt on bumper with all mesh inserts
-bolt on side skirts
-cut and welded on rear fenders
-rear doors
-widened rear bumper
-fender liners

19"x9" HRE 547 style wheels with black centers 275/30-19 Bridgestone S03's (60% left or so)

RS4 grill
M3 style rear lip spoiler
32% Charcoal Solarguard
Euro S4 headlight housings
Tantrumwerks LED city lights

Engine:
AWE RSK04/16 Turbos
AWE Fueling Kit
AWE/McNeil Headers with Swain Coating
AWE/McNeil Downpipes (thermal wrapped) with Cats or Test Pipes
AWE/McNeil TWIN2 Exhaust
Matrix/GIAC software
Piggie MBC
EVO intake
Bailey Diverter Valves or 710N's
Samco High Pressure Hose Kit
RS4 OEM Intercoolers with ducting
B&M Short Shifter
AWE Drive Train Stabilizer
Motorsport front motor mount
RS4 Clutch and Pressure Plate

Suspension:
Stasis Tracksports with Sport Valving
Custom Performance Products Stainless Steel links
-front upper control arms
-rear lower toe links
-rear sway bar drop links
-front adjustable tie rod ends

Brakes:
Stoptech 332mm Front Brakes with stainless lines, Red Calipers
Stainless Steel rear lines
AWE slotted OEM rear rotors
Hawk HP Plus pads

Interior:
Blitz DTT dual turbo timer/boost gauge
Will have BRAND NEW Status Racing Ring seats in leather with a full carbon fiber shell (replacing the current suede ones)
Phatnoise Phatbox
Black suede reupholstery
RS4 shift ****
RS4 piano black shift surround

Agreed, but the Stage 3 wasn't done until around 56K miles, so the turbos are in great condition. Had a leak down done, and the motor is totally happy. Tranny rebuilt at 50K, works perfectly. I hate to sell, and unfortunately I might have to get something really cheap for a year while I work on the startup, but I guess that's how things work .

Congrats on starting your own company. The first 3 years are always the hardest. Now on to your car, your asking price is too high with a car of 84k mi. I think you need to be realistic with your pricing. This is not a flame to u just MO. At that price you it will take a while to get rid of it. I know u need the cash for ur startup, u might need to do some balancing and decide if holding out at that price may jeopardize or impede ur new venture.

Good Luck though!!!

Yah, I'm asking 38 expecting to meet someone halfway on a lower offer. 35K or so is actually a great price, if you do the KBB + 1/3 mods equation that most people use to value modded cars. If I don't get many offers I'll lower the asking so I don't scare people off - but I think if someone is genually interested in the car, the asking won't be a deterrent. I'm trying to prevent buyers who are looking for normal S4's and see mine for sale, and decide that maybe they can low ball me and get something extra...

Thanks for the tip though!
