*UPDATE*
I wanted to add some info about this car's history. I've gotten a couple questions so I want to fill everyone in.
I purchased the car in November of 2011 with 27k on it from a gentleman named Jessie. The car was stored at a classic Porsche dealer in Miami. I had the vehicle shipped to me here in NY. According to the previous owner the vehicle ended up in the median (over zealous with the throttle I believe). He cracked the front bumper cover on the lower left hand side. He hadn't repaired it when I got it. I've been under the vehicle several times at my shop and all the plastic panels are accounted for and in good shape, no signs of any issues.
The accumulator and slave were replaced in December of 2011 after the tell-take leak from the front reservoir.
The vehicle was largely issue free. Had some little things along the way but nothing too serious. There are no signs of 2nd gear popout issues. I've done the tests and everything and it won't fail.
I replaced the front left control arm due to a bad balljoint in the summer of 2012. In the fall of 2012 the car was involved in an incident. I really wouldn't call it an accident. A 93 Oldsmobile gouged the front bumper and broke my license plate mount. I then had the bumper cover replaced. It has only been replaced once, to cover the two times it was damaged. It was done by Jack Daniels Porsche, who also refinished the headlights. It looks beautiful. Honestly the car is nicer now than when I got it. It makes it harder to sell.
Finally the car was recently contacted on the right side by the tire of a Ford escape on the highway. It left a round rub mark. I believe I posted pictures but I have some if you would like to see them. The door and rocker molding were placed by Jack Daniels as well. I can't emphasize enough how good the car looks. I know that buyers are discerning on these cars which is why I transported it 3 hours each way to make sure it was done correctly and only by Porsche. The dealer said everything on it looked good and didn't see any issues with the vehicle. They aligned the vehicle and everything is good in that department as well. Also the spark plugs and coils were just done as well as a full oil service. I did the coils because I have heard of issues and figured if I was going to be taking them out I might as well update them.
There are no tears or stains on the leather or interior.
Again I just wanted everyone to know the history and everything about the vehicle. I love the car, it's a blast to drive and has had no mechanical issues to date. I've reduced the price because I've found a couple of cars I like and would like to be ready to move on them. I'm open to all reasonable offers. What's the worst I can say? No? Feel free to call or text me with any questions or PM. Thank you. 607-727-8260

I'm working on the interior pics part. I never took a lot of those for some reason. I'm thinking of building a pretty mean 335xi. I need something I can drive during the winter. I feel bad getting this car dirty!
How does your 996ttt do in the snow? I'm still doing my research on this, but from what I can see with AWD and rear engine location, it looks like it should do well on snow/ice/low traction conditions.
to docboy : w/o a set of winter rubber any 4pcar will suck in the snow. I play all winter w/ 18" Michelin Alpin's on my c4s.

As requested here are some interior pics and some recent pics from today and yesterday. The car has a fresh bumper cover painted and replaced by Jack Daniels Porsche in Ramsey NJ. Absolutely beautiful work. Honestly some of the best I've ever seen with factory paint. I've been getting compliments on it ever since I had it redone. Also a price drop. I've found a car I really like and would like to move this one. I'm dropping the price to 38,000. Also the mileage is 47, NOT 49. Even better
I can be even more flexible if you only want one set of wheels.

Hey guys I am really motivated to sell this car so I am throwing out some no BS bottom line pricing to try and move this thing. If anyone is interested in purchasing without the forgestars and new tires I'd be willing to sell it for 36,000. I know this car isn't perfect but I feel like that is a steal for a mechanically strong car with a beautiful exterior. Feel free to ask any questions guys. Thanks.
I assume the forged wheels are the grey colored rims in the pics? I also assume the stock turbo rims are the silver chromed colored ones? How much thread left on the tires on the stock rims?
The forgestars are the black spoked concave wheels. The stocks are silver turbo twists from Porsche. I don't have chrome wheels for this car. The fronts have an easy 50%+ the rears are done and will need to be replaced.
