New member here. I was referred to 6Speed by a buddy over on Pelican who told me there's a much larger 996 and 997 community here, so since that's the direction I'm leaning I thought I'd go ahead and post my 930 here.

Black Metallic 1980 930. Just over 1,000 miles on split case rebuild: new main and rod bearings, new rings, rebuilt and re-bushed rods, new rod bolts, ARP head studs, cams re-ground by Elgin for improved low-end performance, refaced/re-bushed rocker arms, complete head rebuild, twin plugs, K27, RarlyL8 equal length headers, Borla Muffler, Electromotive XDi-2, Clewett plug wires/crank pulley/crank sensor, Andial intercooler. etc., etc., etc...

Strongly considering a move into a more modern 911 Turbo (996/997) and figure, given the tax implications of separate selling/buying transactions, that some sort of trade could be pretty attractive for both of us (whoever "us" might be). Prefer an outright sale but if you have some cash on the right car ...

Available again. The other guy made the classic mistake of not bringing this up to his wife before committing to a car deal. C'est la vie, we've all been in his shoes in one way or another. Bottom line: he's keeping his cash and his (well, her) 996tt and I'm re-posting my 930.

While they might not set the market, Hagerty's values seem to have been ahead of the curve on 930 prices for the last couple of years. Based on that, and on their recently released value updates (through April) I'm removing my car from the market. Thanks to the folks who expressed interest and presented offers but I'm going to wait.
