Good insurance company that WILL insure an Aston?
Effing Geico. I'm am buying an Aston tomorrow and called Geico last week to get a rate for it. It wasn't too bad. I called just now to go ahead and add the car and the agent now says they don't insure Aston's. So pissed.
Who do you have, and are you happy with them and the rate? Thanks.

It's OK if they don't insure them, every company has their way of doing things. It's that they tell me until the night before I'm jumping on a plane to do the deal. They gave me a quote for it a week ago. I have enough going on tonight and don't need to deal wit this.

Geiko
I had gotten a quote from them when I purchased mine. Received a letter confirmation showing what monthly would be. Then a week later got a new letter with double the rate. I called in and they said they had typed in the VIN incorrectly. Not sure if that was true or not. Needless to say I canceled the plan.

I've used Amica, USAA, both are exceptional. I've also used Hagerty - never any claims, but their customer service is excellent.

Here's how it played out. I got on the phone with a supervisor and told him what happened. He asked me the price of the car since it was under $100k he said the underwriter would approve it.
They processed it and emailed the insurance card. I looked at it and noticed it was for a 2011 not 2013 and the VIN was wrong. I called and got that corrected and the price went up $200 per year. I swear for these cars they are just guessing. Next week I'm shopping for insurance for all my cars.
