Anyone try PIAA wiper blades?

I need some new wiper blades. I used to have PIAA Super Silicone wipers on my BMW E46 and loved them. They were quite an improvement over the Bosch/OEMs and lasted longer. It appears that both Super Silicone and SI-Tech will fit.

One issue I did have on my old car is that the wiper arms had to be readjusted a bit to accommodate the slightly beefier brackets. I notice on the Panamera the blades retract a bit when the vehicle is on and the wipers are not engaged, so I am worried about trying the Super Silicones.

Anyone have any experience with these or Bosch ICONs?

I bought the Bosche ones online. And you get what u pay for. They are noisier than the Porsche wiper and literally broke apart. Last night while driving the black was coming off of its track. I called the online retailer and told them to send me the oem wipers. That's the last time I put anything non oem on my car..

Which Bosch ones did you try? ICON?

I ask because Bosch also makes the OEM blades, which you can get for about half the Porsche-branded ones.

I got the Bosch ones and as soon as I saw them looking like my wife's old Volvo I returned them. Went with Porsche OE for like $50 shipped and called it a day.

What about bracketless wipers ? I use them on all my other cars and they do the job very well. I don't know this 'Generic' manufacturer but for this price it is worth to try, and they look way much better then OEM prehistoric shape, definitely !

Thats how the Bosch ones look but in my opinion I like the OE look better. I think the bracketless ones look cheapie, maybe I have to get with the times.

I had PIAA on my 996TT and MINI and they were fantastic. I just had to switch the Panny ones and I went from old used OEM to new Rain-X wipers and the additional Rain-X treatment on the windshield. Its just unbelievable.

I ended up buying Bosch OEM-supplier replacements from an online retailer. What came was Bosch "TwinSpoiler 801 S", a pack with both blades in it. The aerodynamic spoiler looks slightly larger. The connector/adapter pieces don't look exactly the same (the little plastic nubs that snap into the holes on the arms looks a bit different), so I just used the existing ones. They seem to work decently, but not as nice as the PIAAs I had on my old car. I think when these wear out I'll try something else.
