2001 Porsche C4 43k miles 6sp

Year: 2001
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $22500
Mileage: 43600
Color: Atric Silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AZ
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD

2001 Porsche 996 C4 in excellent condition with full recent major service along with all new ignition coils at Porsche N. Scottsdale. My father ordered this car new from Carlson Porsche Palo Alto. Always serviced at Porsche dealers throughout its life. Artic silver with full black leather interior, 6sp, sunroof, in dash CD player, Litronic BiXenon HID headlights (low and high beams), headlight washers, on-board computer, and wind deflector. Car is 17 years old and has some wear and chips but no like you would expect to find on a car of its age and mileage. All books, window sticker, Certificate of Authenticity and some service records. New front and rear OEM mats, bumper plugs, window tint, 2 rims refinished by Porsche North Scottsdale. During the service no metal was found in the oil or drain plug and nothing was noted wrong with the RMS/IMS and they did not suggest that it needed to be replaced. Car was involved in a front passenger side collision in 2004 where the bumper, fender and headlight was repaired, this is not listed on the Carfax.

Vin# WPOAA29971S621417

Options:
Technic Package
Wheel caps with painted crests
18 light alloy wheel turbo look
Heated front seats
Black mats with Porsche lettering(replace the originals with OWM Porsche)
3 Spoke leather steering wheel
Rear window wiper
Supple Leather front and rear
Power seat package
self dimming mirrors and rain sensor

Negatives, some small chips and scratches on the car, the car has had a prior accident on the passenger side front bumper and fender. The leather on the dash is stating shrink which is common. My father ran over some road debris which damaged the condenser which was replaced along with some under car panels on the front drivers side. The car is 17 years old so there is wear on the interior seats but because the low mileage it is minimal.

If you have any questions please call or email. If you would like a PPI at Scottsdale Porsche I can help. Asking $25,000 OBO and mileage may go up as I do drive the intermittently. This is a private party sale so no sales tax.

as a preventative maintenance what's a typical cost to do an IMS replacement while there's no failure symptoms?

Its a solid car that my dad bought new and gave it to me last year when he stopped driving. All the maintenance and repair work was done at the Porsche Dealer as they sent me some records. My dad was not a car guy like me as he did not save records.

No, it was not needed. If the IMS was going to go bad it would have over the last 17 years. When the time comes for the clutch to be replaced I will do the update if I have to car.
