Talking WTB: Ariel Atom 3S/3RS, Turbo Atom or high pwr/wt ratio Ultima, Noble, Lotus etc

Year: 2022
Make: Lamborghini
Price: $1
Mileage: 1
Color: Gray
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD

Hello everyone! New to 6speed but not new to the exotic world. What a cool forum...

Currently I am on the hunt for a turbo Ariel Atom or another fun, extremely fast, high hp/wt ratio vehicle.

For an Atom:
-Must have full aero
-Must be turbo or twincharged
-Must be street legal

For another extremely fast machine:
-MUST HAVE 3 PEDALS
-Extreme power/wt ratio. (ie ideally less than 2000lbs, more than 500hp)
-Must be street legal/ability to be registered
-FACTORY engineered for speed (no heavily modified cars, reliability under power is key)
-Would prefer if a closed cockpit car to have A/C but is not a dealbreaker
-Would prefer RWD
What comes to mind here in my price point is generally is an Ultima, Superlite, Noble, Rossion, crazy Lotus. Something insanely fast and low production. I have very low preference to American cars.

Mainly looking for a car I can blast around and scare the **** out of myself with. Let me know what you have. I am located in San Francisco but willing to travel/ship for the right vehicle.

Michael

I feel like I am also always looking for the exact same thing as you...the Noble listed recently checks a lot of the boxes except in the power category.

Then you must have good taste!

I took a look... unfortunately a m12 pedalbox is too small for my 12 size shoe. It also makes the driving position awkward. I actually just looked at a m400 on the east coast a few days ago but the car had many issues and was also rusty, looked like it was stored outside. To boot - it was all stock. My modded M2 Competition felt faster...

Factory five 818S with over 300whp may be for sale soon. Can add AC affordably. Weighs 1800 lbs! No ABS, power steering, power brakes, no nannies. Rwd, mid engine, it will scare the **** out of you and you will become a much better driver after learning this thing... about half of what you will pay for Noble, etc. ping me if interested.

The Noble M12 GTO 3R listed for sale is mine. I also have a size 12 shoe. A narrow puma driving shoe and it is fine for me. Any wide soled shoe and it is definitely harder. Takes the perfect placement of your feet but not so bad after you get use to it. I don't find myself in an awkward position though. I do love your description of "Mainly looking for a car I can blast around and scare the **** out of myself wit". This is why I bought my car

Good stuff everyone...

818 - not for me

m12 - love it, but would rather spring for an m400. Would do an m12 for the right price, however.
