2002 Porsche 911 Turbo X50, 6 Speed

Year: 2002
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $65000
Mileage: 28750
Color: White
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

2002 Porsche Turbo X50, 6 Speed - I purchased this car in 2010 from a wealthy collector with $4,500 miles on the odometer. Over time I have made a number of performance, cosmetic and audit enhancements to the car. It was built with nothing but high quality components and installed during by a highly respected Porsche shop in Huntington Beach, CA called BBI Autosport. The goal was to build a high performance vehicle that can be daily driven. The one thing I insist upon is a trouble free car. This car has been extremely reliable. This will provide the new owner with years and years of hassle free enjoyment. As many know, the 996 turbo come with the Mezger motor which is super stout and overbuilt. The car has approximately 650 wheel horsepower. More than enough to keep up with modern day supercars and more fun because you can row your own gears. The pain is original and still looks great. Always garaged. It’s got a clear bra on front bumper, hood, fenders and side mirrors. It has an 8” Alpine navigation/stereo with Bluetooth for hands free calling and high end Focal speakers. I’ve easily spent $60,000 in after-market parts and installation to make a car that is capable and comfortable. I have receipts for almost all work done.

In 2012 I had a slow speed incident in which the right front fender area hit a utility box when I cam around a turn a little too fast on a rain slicked road. The right front end of the car jumped the curb. I was going approximately 25-30 miles an hour at the time. I damaged the right front fender, right front wheel, suspension components and the tub underneath. I also damaged the right year wheel. Absolutely no frame damage at all. The car was professionally repaired at a high end collision shop. Please do not have any concern about the health and integrity of this vehicle. It is as good as new. I wouldn’t have invested $60,000 in this vehicle if I had any concerns related to the integrity of the car. In fact, Betim Berisha at BBI Autosport can attest to the quality and soundness of this car. He has taken care of it since I purchased it. The care aligns and corner balances perfectly.

The care has never been tracked or abused in any way. It’s been a weekend car and used for spirited drives. There are a few cosmetic items that should be pointed out. There is a cut in the carpet on the passenger side of the vehicle, the shifter boot needs to be replaced and there is some scuffing on passenger side door sill area.

I forgot to list that in my sale post. Yes, the coolant lines have been welded.

curious, do you have the original rear decklid?

Also, I know you stated the paint is original. Obviously, the replacement fender was painted. From the pics, it looks like a good match.

As for the rear bumper, obviously it is not original. Is that an OEM Euro bumper?
Paint is off a bit on both the panels and bumper. Was everything that was added painted at the same time (front bumper, side panels, decklid, right fender and rear bumper)?

Thanks,

Paul

I don't have the original decklid as it was on the car when I purchased it.

The rear bumper and decklid are Techart pieces. the front bumper, right front fender and hood were painted at time of accident in 2012/2013. I think the decklid as also painted at that time but I cannot recall.

can you tell me how the painted hood, right fender and front bumper match the rest of the car. From the pictures, it looks good, but I had a similar accident on my car and it didn't match perfectly so I sold it.
