Hey guys, had to repost this ad due a few errors on my part. I ordered a Tesla Model Y for my Mom, and she doesn't want it due the complex user IX. I explained to her that its a giant iPhone, but no go. Scheduled delivery in 2-3 weeks. Currently they are 8 months behind.
I'm selling my allocation for the Model Y for $SOLD over the current MRSP which is $67,400. Please PM me fore more details. Attached is the build of the car for options list, we can still add full Auto Pilot mode.
Asking price $SOLD
I've sold many things on the boards including: a Ferrari 458, F430, BMW M4, and BMW M3, and have a good history here.

Allocations are transferable but the salesperson needs to know how to do it and many don’t.
FWIW - selling an allocation like this is lame. Esp for 5k, how unscrupulous. You reserved it so either buy it or give the allocation to someone who will enjoy it. I’m sure you can be better than being a profiteering middleman. Ok rant over

I am simply asking $5k to make it market adjusted, but very willing to work with a fellow 6speed member. Highly disagreed on the unscrupulous part, I'm just selling for what the market is.
But hey why don't you secure me a G63, 296 GTB, 911, or even a Ford F150 for at MSRP?

Most ADMS have dropped recently significantly; that said, there is no adjustment for a Tesla, you can order right away. GL.

I don't understand why people are so ****ty and negative about someone selling an allocation. You're not even "asking" that much for your allocation. If someone doesn't want to wait months for one to be ordered, here you go. It's called supply and demand people. Let him sell his allocation for christ sake,

everyone is tired of crooked dealers, and flippers trying to take advantage of shortage to make quick $$. Don't be surprised for some people to vent, even though they should not in other peoples "for sale" threads. Personally I can't stand 992 GT3 for sale threads on rennlist with over $100K markups. I want one, and I can afford one at MSRP, but can't buy one because everything goes to flippers

Not ignorant. Kind. Fair? I don’t know but it’s not about me I’m just sharing a perspective.
IMO, if you’re not even taking delivery of the car, that means you don’t want it. And if you don’t want it, why not pass the allocation to someone who does. Or you can make a quick buck (almost literally) off of someone. I would hope that more people would opt to make someone’s day by sharing/releasing an allocation they don’t even want and have no interest in, rather than charging people like a flipper middleman trying to capitalize on every penny out there. further - you don’t even have the car despite saying “immediate delivery.” What happens when Tesla moves the date a week, a month, 3 months? Not your problem right you sold the allocation thinking delivery was immediate and off you go. Just a recipe for a problem vs being kind and handing the reservation to someone who will appreciate it.
Totally understand there’s an opportunity to make a buck, this is a marketplace messageboard, and some people say hey “if you can do it why not”…I just view it as lame and would hope more ppl don’t than do.

I may be slow to respond for a few day, since I'm in Miami for F1 for the day. Rory can you arrange for Paddock Tickets for $2,000/day i.e. their face value? They're selling for $12,500 right now, but its "lame" that there's a markup.

Again, I explain the situation, I ordered for my Mom and it finally is ready to deliver. Again if you have an item that's for sale at the moment, would you mark it to market or would you sell it for what you paid for it? As mentioned I would be very willing to work with someone on the allocation price, not going to become rich by making $5k -- That's the asking price/market price. Your comments on flippers and capitalization's are absolutely nonsense. Note, I have the car scheduled for pick up on Thursday May 10th. Due to forum rules, I had to list it this specific way. Also, thanks for the extreme hypothetical anecdotes that don't exist. Again, I view it as "lame" that you simply do not understand market pricing for products in 2022.

somewhere?
PS - Tesla delivery dates move all the time. Parts shortages, issues with panel gaps or paint correction that needs to happen. Could change the day before. Happens literally all the time. From personal experience, for what it’s worth. Explain whatever you want, you’re still scrounging and angling for that $5k instead of just making someone’s day, you’ve made that clear. Good luck, enjoy the race 👍

Ok, I guess I’ll chime in here. Bottom line it is his allocation to do with as he pleases. For all anyone knows the car might be worth $15k over MSRP and he is making a nice offer to a 6speeder with $5k for his trouble. It could very well be that the delivery date will pass and he will need to get out from under it. So….no more comments on the sellers ethics please…he has been a member of this forum for 14 years in good standing….this is a car forum not Judge Judy!
