Car is 1 of 9 QS autos in the country. Previously featured in the November 2002 issue of Sport Compact Car magazine and was also the primary character's car in the movie; "Dude, Where's The party?".

The engine runs very strong, but either the transmission or tranny lock probably needs to be rebuilt, since at high boost (25 psi and up), it shifts slower than it should. At low boost, however, it shifts fine. I've been told the cost for rebuilding the modified Boost-Logic tranny would be under $2k. If it's just the tranny lock it would be even less.

I'm a motivated seller. I'm currently in Bahrain until the end of the month, and will only be back in the states for app. 6 months before I leave for Iraq. I'm also in the middle of having my 996TT heavily modified at Protomotive. Truth be told, I just don't have the time or energy to deal with this car. Bids start at $35k.

Awesome car dude!! I miss my Supras, they were so much fun! And anyone who doesn't know these cars Quicksilver is very rare so you won't see many of these pop up for sale. Also, if someone desired to these cars are EASILY converted to 6 speeds at not a fairly low cost.

Ya, the cars are a lot of fun and I really hope to own another one day. I did consider swapping mine out to 6-speed (as well as building the motor and swapping out turbos), but I got so involved in the 996TT that it just never happened.

 

Just curious as to how much it cost do the 6speed tranny swap?

 

Was this Supra originally in Houston, up until a year or so ago?

Great price. It won't stay there for long, especially with the free DVD included.

I have seen this car, driven this car, and detailed this car. Its a very aggressive looking Supra, and personally my favorite color outside of RSP for the Supra.

Rare opportunity and is a steal at this price.
