Trade Gt3 Yellow Calipers For Red?

Hi, i just purchased a gt3/gt2 yellow caliper set 6 piston for the front and 4 piston for the rear i am planning on power coating them red (have a black car) and if anybody is interested in trading the same in red for yellows could work out for both of us. these have only 6k on them would need same good condition. thanks Greg

GT2/3 front calipers have different mounting to the suspension carreiers. caliper, pads will not work with the rotors.

those must be from a 996tt s version (front). the front GT2/3 caliper will not simply bolt up to the 996tt carriers and fit correctly with the larger rotors. not sure if the construction and specs are the same. I would assume so, kevin would know. I have changed out my suspension carriers to accomodate the calipers from an GT2/3. At the time I did my conversion the 996tt S was not available.

The 6-piston calipers are available only in yellow. Any reds you will find for trade are 4-piston. So your choices are: powdercoat, paint or learn to love the yellow.

Yellow, but please correct me if I'm wrong (like anyone here would hesitate!).

my response was mainly for the 996tt guys that were interested in buying or planning on just swapping calipers they will not fit correctly.
