Admin - we need a "550" section please! Some 550 pics to get it started...
The 550 is too important a model to not have its own section... Looks like people are placing "550" content under the "356" section for lack of a proper home.
To get this started... Below are some pics I took at the ’04 Monterey Historics, is one of the most important 550's in existence (550-04) - this car usually sits in the Porsche Museum, but occasionally makes it out for historic rallies and events. The 550 Spyder took its name as it was the 550th design project by Porsche. This model debuted at the Paris Motor Show in Oct of 1953, and was specifically designed for racing purposes. Hans Hermann drove this 550 to a class victory and 3rd-place overall finish in the Carrera Panamericana in 1954. Pretty sweet.
