I when I insert to my signature, and posting, then *someone* removed my signature in that post?

 

that is correct...a link to a website in your sig is a signature violation and you can be given an infraction and one week ban...if all they did was remove it they were being respectful

 

Can you tell me why not allowed?

 

I guess I could if I had made the rules but I didn't...it has been a rule as long as I have been around here...I presume it is to keep those who are unwilling to become a board sponsor from promoting themselves openly on the forum...

 

mine was removed too. but good to know there is some rule about it.

 

ronsega...btw...just so you know...you can put a watermark on your images if you would like to protect them, like your user name or your name and photography but you can't put your website on your images...nice pics btw

Though I did change the pics to another version with a different watermark without .net in it but my post appears to have been removed.

 

the only one I saw had the .net watermark on all the images and it was removed...if you have new watermarks without the .net please put them up

 

n/m just realized the other version was cached on my computer. I had thought that smugmug keeps all watermarked versions but I guess not and it was just forcing all versions to go to the latest watermarked version.
