doesn't it create useless posts?
Just came across this site. Great forum. Wanted to start researching GT-R's because thinking about selling my Porsche Turbo for one. Tried to do a post to offer it in the for sale section and it requires members to post a hundred times first? Doesn't that just create a ton of useless posts by people just trying to reach the required thread count? Can a mod remove that restriction if u request it? Id rather not just start posting a bunch of BS threads and responses?

if you post a bunch of nonsense to up your post count you will find yourself banned permanently...that is not the way to work it out...members who were ripped off by low post count newbies requested this policy...when you can private message other members (15 posts) you can ask any moderator to post a classified for you in the marketplace...until then get to know some members and don't try to sell anything
I was a newbie not too long ago and was genuinely interested in posting on ad for takeover of my MB e350 lease. I approached GT3 chuck for his approval. He understood my situation, immediately obliged and allowed my ad. What we do not want is someone abusing this site with useless posts just to increase their count.
Yea i agree. Hate threads that get off topic with useless posts. Been a member here a long time but mostly to research etc. Always found good info. Don't think i'd ever hit 100 posts just cuz of my busy work schedule. I'll see what i can accomplish and try to make em as useful as possible.
