Have you guys considered raising the PM limit for the website? I thought something must have gone wrong when I received an e-mail warning me of 100% capacity. Most other forums I use have exponentially more storage.

Limiting the inbox/sent folder to 10 messages total is quite a handicap!

 

Any solution to this?

 

No idea why a mod didn't bother chiming in, but it seems like my limit was automatically raised to 10,000 (!) messages after a few days. May be dependent on time/posts.

 

I'm still stuck with 10...lol

 

Necromancing this thread--I found 10 to be unreasonable when it includes sent and replies. I was expecting to see a link requiring payment for increasing your membership level, but I don't see it. I'm shopping for a car on here and spending more time deleting messages than sending them.

The limit is lifted after a few days (or a minimum post requirement). Either way, it disappears.

Your pm situation will improve with time...I think the intention was to prevent spammers and scammers from sending out bulk pms to members...like any government policy there are unintended consequences that affect the innocent
