Hi I can't use visitor message and it returns this error:

I know I'm a new member but I don't want to spam posts and don't really have any real info to share other than ask questions that are Porsche specific, but I'd like to close this deal on the marketplace. Thanks

 

I reported the issue several days ago and received confirmation that IB is aware of the problem..I don’t know why the powers that be haven’t fixed it yet. Sorry! On the bright side you should be able to private message now.

 

This describes my situation to a T. What is the post count required to get the PM function to work? I am active over on Rennlist but don't recall running into this. Can I please get an override to access the PM function? I'd like to PM Cangga to discuss the Bilstein B16's. I just purchased a 997TT that came with these and I need to learn more about them. Them seem way too stiff for my taste and wanna make sure I know if there is any adjustability to soften them up before I give up on them and go back to stock

 

You don’t have enough time or solid posts to pm yet..,use visitor messaging until you do. If you don’t know how just click on the members username That you want to message and select view public profile…there you will see a text box to leave a message in…again…I will caution everyone don’t spam posts to pm as that is a permanent ban. The owners adopted this policy to foil bots and scammers so don’t shoot the messenger.

 

@GT3 Chuck I have the same problem, no access to PMs. I am not a vendor and not a new member but only recently started posting.

Nice, that makes things easier. Last time I tried to buy something without PM abilities I posted my cell number and a scammer texted me instead. PM is the safest way to transact. Stay vigilant everyone!
