who here uses their license plates

just wondering and what happens when you get pulled over with no plates on the car... i'm thinkin about taking my plates off my car again after i get my fix it ticket resolved... i notice that most high end exotics never have plates on their car... any input/opinion would be appreciated...

You must be thinking of not running front plates. No rear plates will get you tagged almost everytime you go out. I've only got tickets for no front plates in San Francisco by meter maids. It's a $100 fine with no opportunity to fix it. Since i've been in Socal, no issues with no front plates.

Many people with current model cars don't run plates. My friend hasn't run plates on his S2000 for over 6 years. Not that it's recommended, but keeping the dealer plates and registration sticker on the windshield usually prevents you from getting pulled over.
