Dealer gives a PCA discount on parts and labor. GMG is also good (in Costa Mesa). There are three other shops in OC.

There are several good independent shops in Orange County (GMG and Hergesheimer are two notable examples).

I've not had my car worked on at either shop but I have spoken with Mark and Laura at Hergesheimer at length and am very, very impressed with their facility, their approach, and their knowledge of the marque.

Good luck.

If you're looking for a Porsche Service Shop go to Auto Strasse in Costa Mesa 949-645-1928.

GMG and Hergesheimer both service Porsche's although GMG does arguably cater more to the tuning/modding mindset.

Check out Hergesheimer on the PCA boards. They are fantastic and while they prepare race cars, etc. their bread in butter is good old fashioned, Porsche only service work.

Hergesheimer in Lake Forest. Best place to have your Porsche service. Ask for Mark, Linda, they are great people and know what they are doing. Especially, Linda (owner's wife) she knows more about Porsche than you'll ever know.
