San Diego Drive, 7-26-08
Hey Everyone, I know I'm new here but hopefully that doesn't mean that nobody wants to come out.
I've been looking to set up a drive in San Diego for a while now, and after talking with enough people, I've decided that it's going to be Saturday July 26, around noon-ish.
The plan is that people can come out to the Carlsbad show that morning and then hang out for a little while (or maybe Jeff will let everyone come check out the Cavallo warehouse for a little while) and then we'll split for lunch (probably at Firenze Trattoria again) and the drive. I don't know of a route yet, but I'm thinking we'll start and end at the restaurant in Encinitas, and hit up Palomar Mountain in between. If anyone has better suggestions, please post here or PM me.
There is also a meet at the HRE warehouse out in Vista, so I've heard, so I would like to incorporate that into the drive as well.
Additionally, since that day is the day that Lamborghini is the featured marque at C&C (at least that's what I heard) I would like to get a small caravan of Lambos from down here to head up to C&C together, hopefully snag a few more drivers for the drive, and then come back down together for the lunch. Unfortunately this means I probably won't be at Carlsbad but I'm hoping that maybe someone will show up there and help get some more cars out.
So far I have a few Lambos and 2 Ferraris confirmed, and I have heard from about 18-20 other guys that they would like to come out for it but aren't 100% sure if their schedules allow it. All cars are welcome, the more the merrier!

Saturday, July 26, approx. 12pm.
Meet either (A)at the Carlsbad Car Show and caravan to Cavallo or the restaurant from there, ( B ) at C&C for anyone who might be willing to make the drive down to SD, or ( C ) at Firenze Trattoria in Olivenhein.
Put your name and car on the list if you're in. Hope to see a bunch of you out there.
