Hey guys, Jonathan at Mothers asked me to post up the flyer for the big 2012 Long Beach Grand Prix event. I participated in this event in 2010, it was a blast! I've been trying to call but I just keep getting the VM... I have about 4 other guys that are interested, that I've been going to LBGP for the past 15 years together and doing this Mother's thing this year should be a blast.... if I could get a hold of Mothers... sent them an email last week too and no reply... =(

We wanted to know too which Grandstand seats they were before we could commit.. if anyone knows from previous years please let me know..

I will call Jonathan with Mothers today to see what the deal is. I have his cell number, so I should be able to link you guys up without a problem.

I don't recall the exact grandstand number we sat in previously? I know it was right over the bridge from the Exotic Car Paddock, we could see our cars from the seats.

I'll call Jonathan in a few hours and try to get things squared away.....

He also confirmed that we will be in the same grandstand section as previous years. Here are a few photos I took from my seats in 2010. You can see the Exotic Car Paddock in the photo, we are seated very close to our cars.

Guys- this is a really cool event. I've gone to it for the last few years. It's either grandstand 16 or 18, which are very good viewing areas before the hairpin with big screens. I've gone to LB GP every year since 1988, but this mother's event is the best. From the meeting areas with cool cars/people, escorted convoy to the track, secure parking at the track, catered lunch, to the reserved grandstand tix, this is the way to go. Book it Danno.

 

Yeah got an email from him awhile back and have been trying to reach him but no luck. Even left him a vm but no luck. Went last year and it was a blast except for the roadwork on the freeway where there were lots of loose gravel enroute to the lbgp. I'm sure people who went last year know what I'm talking about.

The caravan is a blast as is the racing. I'll miss it this year tho.
