Houston networking meet and greet
Houston networking meet and greet
Hey folks,
I figured it might be a good idea to set up a meet and greet for the locals here in Houston. Basically for everyone to say hi, drool over each others rides and get to know some good people.
Location:
Verona's Italian Cuisine - Best Italian food in town.
Corner of Westpark and Gessner, right off the Westpark toll road a few blocks south of Richmond.
Date:
March 28 @ 7:30PM
What to bring:
An appetite, a good attitude, business cards if you got em' and some personality!
NOTE:
Verona's gets very busy in the evenings as it is a very popular restaurant (I've been going there for 25 years) so let's get a head count so we can make reservations. I can also try to get them to reserve some spots in the front or on the side for those who like to keep an eye on/show off their cars.
After Party:
If anyone wants to hang out for drinks afterward, we can move to Jonny's Sports Bar in the Village. I can probably make arrangements for special parking there as well if I can get a head count. Jonny's has tons of TVs, classic cabinet video games, pool, air hockey, shuffle board, beer pong, a huge deck and lots of cool people.
When we meet up, you won't be able to miss me. I'll be the giant white guy in the black Bentley.
PS: Youngsters, feel free to join us for dinner but they will be checking ID@Jonny's, so probably best to make your own plans for later.

Thanks but my work has me in and out of town a lot, so normally if I'm around I'll be there.
Don't tell them here
but if you're interested getting an exotic car meet and greet going for Houston (which is a great idea) try posting here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14
Much more likely get a few responses. They have social meets fairly regularly already.

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't. Just because the crowd is younger, doesn't mean you can't have fun. The music might annoy the crap out of you, but the talent can more than make up for that. You might have to show the youngsters how it is done!
