No tracking. Have considered but never got motivated to eat up those tires in one single weekend. They don't last long. Never really knew anyone to get me to go to a track event or DE or whatever. Right now it just rests in the garage. Bad thing for that car.

I will not be posting the exact route. We will not be running 150mph. The route will be mostly 2 lane country roads. There may be cows, dogs, chickens, farm equipment, etc at any given time. This is not meant to scare anyone away, but put in perspective the driving conditions.

As I have stated before, this is not a race, it is not a 9/10th drive, it is a fun drive with like minded car owners, that will end for lunch at a hole in the wall joint somewhere north of DFW.

It is not a difficult route, it is easy to stay together, as at any change of route, we will wait as a group for everyone to catch up. ( It is not unusual to spread out over a mile < 10 cars > so as to keep rock chips at a min < none > and allow time IF something were to happen or road conditions warrant it, to make a change in direction )

I had to laugh, a few months ago, the Ferrari club did a drive of their own and were pulled over as a group because they passed the sheriff's wife for the local town, at a high rate of speed or ??? . I consider myself lucky in that we have not had an incident or police interaction in the 9+ years of doing these drives.

You might be suprised at just how far away you can hear us coming... LOL

anyways.. off my soap box...

Hope the weather stays the same!

Nah, I couldn't begin to describe what my wife thinks on priority lists at our house when her and Porsche's compete. I had better wreck instead of someone else.
Love guards red. Had an 07 997TT with natural sand interior. Maybe the most beautiful car I have owned.

Not to worry, we'll get you on the track at Motorsports Ranch in Feb. That way you can stretch the GT2's legs a bit.

I wish you wouldn't have said that. I'm bringing my yellow jeep.

Yep. Beggin to push 200. Can't get there I don't think, but I will try. It was my first deal, car did good on first run, and then a few issues developed that needed tuning. Steve is helping. The driver pretty much sucked.

Wife and priorities, that is a variable alright. I am married 22 years and it's all based on compromise...mine

That's funny!

I had to hold out until I found my wife, that fully understands and actively supports my addiction to cars and the events that surround them.

Now, she is asking when the next event is and she wants to drive!

I got lucky, that's all I can say.

My wife also enjoys my driving. She'll be with me on our drive Sunday. She's always asking to do 'our' loop on the Dallas North Tollway from George Bush to 635 and back.

Don't get me wrong, I love my wife and she is terrific. She thinks I am nuts for buying a Porsche. Her idea of a drive is going to the mall, valet parking and shopping until the credit card bleeds.

She drives a 2008 Acadia LTZ but likes the idea of the Cayenne. Maybe there is hope.

I'm at 20. If my wife went, my arm would be bruised and ear drum busted from the hitting and yelling due to speed I would receive. Quiet and fast is very stress relieving.

Don't pay any attention to that Silentrun guy. He is in the head.
