Quote: Good Morning-

Just to confirm, this is Feb 1st. I will add names to the list once you contact me to confirm you are going to make it out.

Steve
I'm confirming.

One question though.. What is a frs radio and where do I get one? I do have a Bear Tracker Scanner, is this the same thing?

Scanner's not the same thing. FRS radios are those 2 way radios by Cobra, Motorola and others that you can get at all electronic stores. They are basically powerful walkie-talkies and require no license.

Here is a link to BestBuy for a few. The longer range help for clairity, even though we may only be spred out for a mile the hills will effect the lower power radios

Then again, if the weather is terrible, we could always meet in our "other cars " and drive through the route anyways... still eat lunch and all

I heard on the news this morning the weather for Sunday is : 30% Few Showers and 67 degrees.

Saturday will be: Sunny and 63 degrees with 0% showers.

Any thoughts on moving our SMD to Saturday, discuss.

I would prefer it so I can attend church Sunday. I have 2 votes. Steve might work Saturday and not have a choice. I wouldn't believe a weather man in Dallas unless it was August.

I would prefer if we could stay on track for Sunday. That is one more day that the sand on the roads can clear. Our front ends will get chewed up with all that sand on the roads. But, I could be wrong.

Thank you for your suggestion. Points to consider:

1. I am working this Saturday.
2. Mucho Police presence on Saturdays
3. Traffic

I will be there, I am with Chuck, in that weather persons are not super accurate around these parts.

The roads we will be traveling will most likely not be ones sanded, but I agree on keeping it on Sunday.

Hey Guys! I am interested in participating in this event. It is a good excuse to get the car out of storage and stretch its legs

I bumped the F-car so that you can come out and play.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you are not going to make it out for some reason.
