Go to Porsche of Plano and ask for John Gladwill. He's the chief tech there as well as a PCA club racer. He knows what he's doing for sure.

Thanks WhiteRock for the quick reply, I spoke to the service advisor last week and was quoted $1700 for install pretty steep for my pockets, should i call up there and ask for John personally?

Thanks again

He is more than willing to talk with his customers. When I took my car for service, I would just shoot him a text or call his cell. I hardly ever spoke with the service reps (if you do, I would recommend Devin). John typically will give you more favorable pricing than what service quotes. They have some flexibility in the sense that he doesn't double up on labor/service charges. For example, getting an oil change and a brake flush, but only charging for the oil change labor, and a simple $15 for the brake flush (just for the fluid). Most shops would charge around $150 to $200 for each.

Spoke to John today great guy! He stated that he's moved on to working on the gt3 race cars only but he gave my info to another tech and they will be calling me back with a quote.
