How much HP can headers REALLY provide?
#16
I see your point. I'm kind of all or nothing though. I'm either WOT or just cruising, so the Suncoast Headers work fine for me. All the power on my car is made from 4K and up, so I don't really have any performance expectations at lower rpms. And it was that way before the headers. The headers basically just enhanced the power curve I already have. Like I said before, I had a decent power gain. Over 20rwhp in the midrange, and almost 10rwhp on top. I'll try and find the dyno.
Even with the minor low end torque loss, I don't have any problems merging with highway traffic at partial throttle

I found my dyno chart on here in another thread. It's a little hard to read since it was shrunk a bit when uploaded, but you get the general idea.
This is a before and after install of the suncoast headers on the same car, same day, same dyno with essentially no ECU adjust period in between.

your N/A is supercharged tho, so it's not really an N/A..or was it still NA when you did the header dyno's?

No it wasn't, but I had seen several dynos that have the exact same hp gains from NA cars. That is what sold me on the headers in the first place. I figured if they worked that well on NA cars, it should be better on mine. They didn't. Same gains. Even though my car is forced induction, we're only talking 5psi.
