otherhwhitemeat is infamous around these parts
seen where it drains (or leaks so far up the top of the carpet doesnt get wet, but the foam underneath is like a sponge.

check the bottom of the evap housing too, could be cracked and leaking from there, instead of the drain tube-

the leak is coming from high up in the firewall...behind the insulation... ugh... evap hose is ok though!

did you check your body fire wall drains (the drains under the plastic trim in the front fire wall are near the battery)? are they full of debris?

yea..the drains were full... so i tried to clean them...and they fell right through the metal!!

this will solve the problem of collecting water...but doesnt solve the problem of where the actual water is comng in.


it did however seem to stop the water from coming in... fingers crossed...

now to put the carpet back in.

body drains are one of the most neglected items on these cars, especially on cab tops. good to keep an eye on from time to time. save you a lot of work.Glad things seem figured out

Mind letting us know which car audio store this might be? Not that its 100% their fault but it just might help me avoid a similar problem in the future as I am also in Vancouver BC! Not all installers are great and I have had my share of wet and muoudy carpets due to a poor install before...done by myself unfortunately
