SOOO....
i just discoverd that my carpet is wet... yes, i know sh*ty....
so after about 4 hours of BS...i have removed the carpet...and it has some damage... needless to say, although it is minor..i would like to replace it.
so... WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS...
go with nothing? but then does someone actually make some sort of liner (aluminum) inserts to kind of finish the car?
DOES THE GT3 carpet weigh less? is so, will it fit?
has anyone done anything similar...if so, let me know, i would love to see what has been done out there...
thanks to all in advance

ya...i have s STRONG feeling that the audio installers i used to install my system left some holes between the passanger compartment and battery compartment...
how do i know... because i had FLOODING in the trunk before i sealed another hole that was left there by these pros!!
i will be checking the exact location... BUT its only on the passenger side? i will have to check for all the body plugs too just to be sure, but i really doubt thats it.

Wow, what a nightmare. Have you checked around all of your window seals?
I know it sounds counter productive but perhaps you could get a garden hose and try to recreate the leak. That way you can find out exactly where it's coming from and solve the problem.
Unless you've got rotting, you should be able to dry out/have the carpet cleaned back to normal.

yea, i was planning on that.... but its getting cold here in Vancouver (Canada) and i really dont want to get the interior moist again.
the carpet wasnt wet long enough to stink thankfully, and it is now completely dry. i will have to find exactly where it is coming before i do anything else.
