Wiring my V-1...
How did you guys get the wire from the fuse box to the A-pillar?
Need to go around the dash and A/C vent? Behind?
I think I can tuck it under the A-pillar then to the headliner once I get there.
Did you just end at the headliner? Or go into the overhead light area?

I used a 3 foot zip tie (worked great). Then I ran it down the weater strip on the passenger door, along the bottom of the glove box to the center console. I think I'll ground it to the sun roof motor. Good Luck.

 

I ran my V1 off the interior light wire. The power shuts off after you exit the vehicle (some time delay) and powers up when the door is opened. The power is held on while the ignition is on to supply power to the map lights.

 

what i did for my cousin was from the fuse box. run the cable inside the weather strip upto the roof then tucked the cable in the roof all the way to where he wanted his radar detector mounted. in your case you can pop out the overhead console and zip tie it there so there are not loose cables flapping around

 

Use an old credit card, video store card, or grocery store card and use it to force the cable behind the a pillar. Works great.

Spatula also works good, personally I would just wire it to the sunroof wiring behind the switch in the ceiling. Very easy to do.
